The GT dramatically improves the utility of your vehicle by increasing horsepower, improving fuel economy, and providing a comprehensive set of monitoring features and diagnostic functions.    This Bullydog GT tuner / programmer arrives with 3 pre-loaded dyno proven tune files - With a Stock, Fuel Economy / Tow and Performance tunes for gains of 25 rear wheel horsepower for your 1999 to 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 engine. Note: The Bullydog GT does not currently support Chevrolet / GM vehicles equipped with the 8 speed transmission. Bullydog is working on rolling out support for tuning for the 8 speed transmission but not currently available yet.   The Tow / Fuel Economy tune at 15 horsepower increase, whether towing a heavily loaded race trailer or 5th wheel camper, adds the perfect mix of extra horsepower and torque to help hauling your load easier.
