The new intake features a specially designed one-piece roto-molded intake box that draws cool outside air from the factory cold air duct location while having a unique shape that promotes airflow all the way around the filter. The air box has a lid that keeps hot engine compartment air away from the filter element while having a Plexiglass window to keep tabs on the filter. The massive 1300-cfm air filter is available with traditional oiled filter media in red or SynthaMax dry media in red, blue, or black. All AIRAID filters are washable and reusable while carrying a lifetime warranty.An all-new roto-molded intake tube connects the air box assembly to the throttle body on the engine. Designed to maximize airflow and eliminate restrictions and to support other engine modifications while having a specially formed venturi to ensure accurate sensor readings.
